Go Stats!

I have added a "Go Stats" counter to my blog here. It gives the breakdown of how many people
are looking at my blog and how they got here. The most popular reason people stumble upon my little blog is from my "The Pearl by John Steinbeck" entry. I feel a bit sorry that this is a misleading title, I just imagine people researching for their high school book report and them finding that post about me finding a pearl in my dinner... sorry to those that have been mislead by my clever title.

But, stick around and check back in for more misleading titles and follow my strange adventures around the world.

Moving Pictures: My year so far 2008

As many of you, I have the option to take short videos with my digital camera. However, the little selector wheel thing to do so is precariously places close to the picture-taking-button, so each photo trip I end up with a few 2-15 second videos. I was looking through these moving pictures, and noticed that they captured quick moments of my life, and my travels. Here I present a selection of videos from my life, beginning January of 2008.

Texas Update

I never got to say how much I enjoyed Texas.
I was hot and sunny. I ate grits and felt crystals.
But most of all I had serious soul sister time with
Anne Regan.

Breakfast Photos

Photographer Jon Huck has an amazing series of photos of people with
their breakfasts. If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE breakfast.
It was the only guranteed meal to have with my parents, and I will draw out
a brunch deep into supper territory if given the opportunity.

Seeing the people along side their "most important meal of the day", you
really get a sense for the type of person they are. Some people have just a
cup of coffee, and I find myself searching their faces for signs of disease, physical
or mental. Just coffee? Give me a break... fast! HAHAHHA! I am hilarious.
